I’ve taught A-Level Geography for eight years and particularly enjoy the physical side of the course, especially hazards and coastal systems. A lot of my tutoring involves helping students turn good geographical knowledge into stronger exam answers. We work through past papers together, looking carefully at command words, evidence and where evaluation is actually needed rather than adding it everywhere.

Hi! I’ve been tutoring A-Level Geography for around four years, mostly with students who find the amount of case-study material a bit overwhelming. I’m quite practical in lessons: we’ll pick apart a topic, work out what you genuinely need to remember and then try it in an exam question. Human geography is probably my favourite, particularly migration, globalisation and changing places.

I am a qualified Geography teacher with eleven years of classroom experience, including several years teaching A-Level students. My tutoring is mainly focused on exam preparation, essay structure and interpreting unfamiliar maps, graphs and resource booklets. I also spend time on synoptic questions, as these are often where capable students lose marks by not making their geographical links explicit enough.
